We have receivied preliminary entries from 38 countries: AUS, AUT, BEL, BLR, BUL, CAN, CHN, CRO, CZE, DEN, ESP, EST, FIN, FRA, GBR, GER, HKG, HUN, IRL, ISR, ITA, JPN, LAT, LTU, MDA, NOR, NZL, POL, POR, RSA, RUS, SLO, SUI, SVK, SWE, TUR, UKR, USA. Altogether there are 335 athletes (156 W, 179 M) accompanied by 88 coaches.

On 26th–27th May, a small regional competition will take place in terrains relevant to JWOC. Invitation is now available.

The Mayor of Košice, a representative of The Technical University of Košice and the organizers participated in the first JWOC press conference in Košice today, attended by 10 journalists. Some photos are available.

Competitors (national teams, clubs and individuals) from additional countries have decided to take the opportunity to train in terrains similar to the JWOC during the remaining months: AUT, BEL, BUL, CZE,
EST, FIN, GER, HUN, LAT, LIT, NOR, SVK, SUI, SWE.

During the two official training camps and additional camps this fall, competitors from the following countries had the opportunity to try terrains similar to the championships: AUT, CZE, DEN, FIN, GBR, GER, HUN, LIT, NOR, POL, SWE, UKR and SVK.
